Hello and welcome to Zach’s Theme Park Blog, where you can’t see me but I can see you.

Kentucky Kingdom (Louisville, KY) is still a hot mess. Story here
Six Flags America (Upper Marlboro, MD) is being sued because they wouldn’t hire two women with refused to remove their dreadlocks. Would you trust someone with dreadlocks to operate a ride? Story here
Busch Gardens Tampa (Tampa, FL) keeps growing under new management. Yeah must be a slow news day, but at least they officially say “2011 thrill ride.” Story here
Ghost Town in the Sky (Maggie Valley, NC) has been purchased. Will Cliffhanger ever open? Stay tuned. Story here
Islands of Adventure (Orlando, FL) is opening a harry potter attraction! Story here
Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Lake Buena Vista, FL) will be “re-imagining” their Star Tours attraction. In the ride’s honor they are hosting a party in August, which will include “Death Star Disco.” Story here
Ferrari World (Abu Dhabi, UAE) has set an opening day. Will it open on time? Only time will tell. Story here
Disneyland Paris (Ile-de-France, FR) has driven two employees to suicide within the year. Stephen King is already writing a book about it. Story here
Linnanmaki (Uusimaa, FI) will be hosting a musical starring finish metal band Hevisaurus. The band wears dinosaur suits. Here is a video of them.
